About this transfer: Paris City CenterPalace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles is one of the most visited monuments in the world, attracting over 10 million visitors per year. Located 22 km south-west of Paris, it is easily accessible by private car in 30–40 minutes.

Unlike the RER C train, a private transfer drops you directly at the Palace entrance — no walking, no crowds, no connections. Your driver picks you up from your hotel door and takes you straight to the gates.

We also offer return transfers. Your driver can wait for you (billed hourly) or pick you up at a scheduled time. Many guests combine their Versailles visit with a stop at the Gardens or the Trianons.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my driver wait while I visit the Palace of Versailles?+
Yes. Your driver can wait for you during your visit (billed at an hourly waiting rate) or return at a pre-arranged time to pick you up. Many guests prefer to book a 3–4 hour window: drop-off at opening time, pickup after the visit. Just mention this when booking.
What time should I leave Paris to visit Versailles?+
We recommend departing Paris between 8:30am and 9:00am to arrive just as the Palace opens at 9:00am. This avoids both Paris morning traffic and the Versailles midday crowds. Weekdays are significantly less crowded than weekends.
Is a private transfer better than the RER C to Versailles?+
The RER C takes approximately 35–40 minutes from central Paris but requires a 15-minute walk from the Versailles-Rive Gauche station to the Palace entrance. With luggage or children, it is impractical. A private transfer drops you at the Palace gates directly, door-to-door from your hotel.
Can you also take me to the Trianon palaces or the Versailles gardens?+
Absolutely. The Trianon palaces (Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon) are located within the Versailles estate. Your driver can drop you at the main Palace entrance or at the Trianon entrance, whichever you prefer. Just indicate your preference at booking.
How much does a private transfer from Paris to Versailles cost?+
A private transfer from Paris to Versailles starts at €110 for the Mercedes E-Class (up to 4 passengers). The Mercedes V-Class for larger groups starts at €130, and the S-Class at €200. All prices are fixed, all-inclusive — no tolls, no parking, no hidden fees.
