Orly is the closest airport to central Paris, just south of the city. Getting into town has changed a lot recently: Metro line 14 now runs straight from the airport, while the old Orlybus is gone.

Metro line 14: the new direct link
Since the extension of Metro line 14, Orly has a direct, driverless metro to central Paris, reaching Châtelet in roughly 25 minutes. It is fast and frequent, and it replaced the Orlybus, which no longer serves the airport.
The airport journey requires the “Paris Région ↔ Aéroports” ticket (€14 for an adult in 2026), loaded onto a Navigo Easy card, the official app or a phone wallet — a standard metro ticket is not valid to or from the airport.

Licensed taxis apply a fixed fare between Orly and Paris set by the police prefecture: €36 to the Left Bank and about €45 to the Right Bank. Take them only from the official rank outside arrivals.
